Founder & CEO

I began my career in the fitness industry in 2006 after graduating from Hofstra University with a degree in Dance. Like many young women drawn to fitness, I didn’t start from a place of balance; I started as a frustrated yo-yo dieter with PCOS, doing everything I was told should work, and watching my body push back harder each time.

That experience shaped the lens I still work from today: more effort alone is not the answer.

Over the years (and especially through postpartum seasons that brought their own challenges with energy, digestion, and anxiety) my work evolved beyond training alone. I pursued advanced education in women’s fitness, nutrition, and functional health to better understand how stress, hormones, metabolism, and recovery intersect in real life.

Today, as a certified Women’s Fitness Specialist, Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, and Functional Health Coach, I help women who know how to do “all the right things” finally get results that feel sustainable. In 2015, I co-founded Excelerate Wellness to offer a more thoughtful, individualized, whole-person approach. The fitness-centered approach tends to oversimply and the functional medicine approach tends to see women as protocols, not real people.

Outside of my work, I’m married to my best friend, Kyle, and we’re raising our two young children alongside our very opinionated pitbull. I believe personal growth is lifelong, health is deeply personal, and the most meaningful transformations happen when women are fully supported and celebrated.

Meet Michelle

Functional Health Coach

I’m Michelle - A functional health coach for women who are tired of doing everything “right” and still feeling off. I help women honor their bodies and care for them in a way that brings lasting peace, confidence and strength. I want to be your last stop.


My experience blends science, whole-system healing and real life. After five+ years as a personal trainer, & after facing some hard health struggles of my own, I saw that workouts and meal plans alone do not resolve exhaustion, hormone imbalances, stubborn weight changes, or chronic stress.


I dove head first into studying functional medicine, & for the past 2.5 years I’ve coached women using a root-cause approach that supports the whole system - metabolism, hormones, immune function, lifestyle, sleep, & nervous system.


My coaching style is supportive, practical, and empowering. I’ll also lovingly, give it to you straight.


I truly believe health is a fundamental pillar to reaching our highest, most optimal self. Because real health isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing what actually supports YOU.
